     Fried Noodle and Rice Casserole

Ingredients
1 Cup butter
1/2 pound uncooked fine noodles
2 Cups quick cooking rice
2 Cups Chicken broth
1 Cup Water
2 Cans French Onion Soup
1 Tbls Soy sauce
8 oz. can drained sliced chestnuts
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 325. In large skillet melt butte, add noodles and stir constantly until evenly browned add remaining ingredients and pour into a 3 quart casserole. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
Variation: reduce butter to 1-2 cup, omit rice and use one pound noodles.
