2 T butter
|

2 T flour
|

1 1/2 cups milk
|

6 cups thinly sliced potatoes

2 T dry onion soup mix
|

2 cans Cheddar cheese soup

Instructions |

|
In saucepan, melt butter, blend in flour. Stir in soup mix.
|

Stir in milk all at once, and cook until thickened and bubbly. Stir in cheese soup.
|
|
|
Layer half the potatoes in casserole, pour half the cheese sauce over potatoes, and repeat the layers.
|
|
|
Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover, and bake until potatoes are tender, approx. 30 additional minutes.
