Marinate the chicken with salt, pinch of sugar, lime juice, 1/4th tsp turmeric, 1 tsp each of ginger and garlic paste and refrigerate for atleast 2 hours
Grind all the other ingredients with the tomato.
Mix the finely chopped onions with the 1 cup grated coconut, thoroughly
In a big vessel, fry the chicken, approx fo 3/4 mins on each side and keep aside. In the same oil fry the masala and mix the fried chicken.
In a searate vessel, add some oil and fry the coconut mixture for atleast 5 mins on a slow flame stirring continuously. Add the chicken and stir.
Add 1/2 tsp vinegar and simmer for 10 mins
