1 med. onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/3 c. Crisco
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) pizza sauce
Hot cooked spaghetti
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
Instructions
Trim fat from meat and cut into 6 equal pieces. Combine the flour, salt and pepper. Coat meat with flour mixture and pound to 1/3 inch thickness. In skillet, brown meat slowly in hot Crisco. Place onion rings in bottom of electric slow cooker. Place meat pieces on top of onion.
Combine the tomato sauce, pizza sauce, water, sugar and oregano. Pour over meat in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours. Serve meat and sauce over hot cooked spaghetti.
