1 small head of cabbage, or 1/2 large head, chopped into 1 inch pieces
2 Tbsp oil
1 small onion diced
1 lb lean ground beef
2 cans of tomato soup
Rice, your favorite kind, enough for 4 people
Sour Cream
Soy Sauce
Instructions
Heat oil in a large pot on medium heat. Add onion and fry for 1 minute. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
Add soup and cabbage and stir well. Cover and cook on low
Stir occaisionally and cook until cabbage is tender. Approx 1 hour.
In a separate pot, cook rice according to directions.
Spoon a serving of rice on a plate and cover with cabbage mixture. Add a dollop of sour cream and soy sauce, and enjoy
Add whatever you like, mushrooms, peppers, seasonings etc. Red wine added is yummy too
