     Caramel Corn

Ingredients
4 cups popped popcorn
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margerine
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
 

Instructions
Over low heat, mix together sugar, butter and corn syrup. Stir to boiling and let roll for five minutes without stirring
Remove, and add vanilla and baking soda
Pour over popcorn and stir Bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring lots. Add peanuts, almonds or walnuts if desired
