Pour boiling water over raisins. Add soda, butter, and salt. Stir well and let cool.
Add sugar to the beaten eggs and beat well. Add to the raisin mixture.
Add the cinnamon to the flour, sift, and add gradually to the raisin mixture. Put wax
paper in the bottom of 5, number 2 gold lined cans. Divide dough in cans.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool slightly, and remove to wire racks to cool completely.
