(Mise en Place)
1.Dice Red Peppers
2.Dice Onion
3.Dice Garlic.
2.Rough chop basil

1.Sweat onion and garlic in olive oil.
2.Add red pepper when onion starts to soften or lightly browns.
3.Deglaze with balsamic vinigar.
4.Add basil and tomatoes.
5.Simmer until it starts to cook down and meld. About 20-30 min.

1.Using a stick blender, blend until smooth.
(Optional Can pass through china cap or cheese cloth if pure texture
is desired)
2.Add in cream and simmer for another 10 min.
|
|
|
Salt Pepper to taste.
If additional bite is desired, add more balsamic viniger
