Brew your coffee rather strong. Remember that you will add milk and serve over ice. I like 3 scoops of strong coffee for 10 cups of water.
Pour your sweetener into the bottom of your 2 quart pitcher. Immediately after the brew cycle has completed pour the coffee into the pitcher. The heat will dissolve your sweetener.
Fill the pitcher to the top with your milk of choice. (Higher milk-fat will give you a creamier coffee. Canned milk would also be very nice.) Cover and chill for several hours, or overnight. Serve over ice.

If you would like a flavored coffee, I recommend replacing the sweetener with a flavored syrup, like Torani brand, approx 4-5 oz per pitcher.
