Sub Category   None
Servings   8-10

Ingredients
whole milk
vanilla extract
5 medium-size ripe bananas
1 (1 lb) package nutter butter cookies
2 (3.4 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding
tub of extra creamy cool whip
8 oz. sour cream

Instructions
Place 3 cups milk and 2 tsp vanilla in large bowl; add the pudding packages and mix. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes or until thickened. Let stand 5 minutes then stir in 8 oz sour cream.
Fill a large bowl with ice. Place bowl with pudding mixture in ice and let stand, stirring occassionally, 30 minutes or until mixture is thoroughly chilled.
Cut bananas into 1/4 inch slices. Break cookies into thirds.
Spoon half of the pudding mixture into a 3-qt bowl. Top with bananas and cookies. Spoon remaining pudding mixture over bananas and cookies. Top with cool whip. Cover and chill 2-24 hours. Garnish with peanut butter sandwich cookies, dried banana chips, fresh mint springs if desired.
