In large pot, cover peeled/cubed potatoes in enough water to cover the potatoes. Bring to boil, reduce to medium-high heat and cook til potatoes are tender.
While potatoes are cooking, saute bacon until crispy, add onions and saute until onions are tender.
Add bacon and onions to tender potatoes (DO NOT DRAIN THE WATER). Add cubed Velveeta, stirring until melted. Soup will thicken as it cools. Add condensened milk if needed to thin soup. Salt and pepper to taste.
