1 boxed cake mix, yellow or white (French Vanilla works well)

1 C brown sugar
|
| |
1/2 C butter, room temperature
|

1/2 C chopped pecans
|

1 1/2 C sour cream

3 eggs

Instructions |

Mix 2/3 C of dry cake mix with sugar, nuts and butter. Set aside.

Beat eggs, blend in sour cream. Mix with remaining dry cake mix.
|

|
Spread 1/2 of the cake batter mixture in a well-greased 9/13 pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of topping mixture on the batter.

|
|
Spread the other half of the batter on top of the topping mixture, then sprinkle the rest of the topping mixture. Bake at 350 for about 45 min.
