3-4 Roma tomatoes, more if you like it more tomato-y, chopped
1/4 chopped onion
a handful of cillantro, snipped
2-3 tsp. juice from lemon or lime
1-2 avocados, chopped
Salt- to taste
Instructions
Roast the jalapeno over your gas range or on your grill until it is fragnant and the skin is blisterin. Using a fork and knife, remove and discard the seeds and chop finely. Throw all the ingredients into a bowl and stir, tasting to adjust flavors

note- addition of avocados mellows the salsa. It is best served fresh; but don't worry, it is so good there are rarely leftovers.
