Your favorite jelly. It's best when it's homemade!
Instructions
Cream butter, sugar, salt, egg yolk, and vanilla. Gradually stir in
flour. Cover and chill until firm enough to handle.
Shape dough into balls the size of marbles and roll in nuts. Place
one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Gently press thumb into
center of each cookie to make a shallow indention.
Fill w/ jelly (Apple or strawberry is great! It's even better if you can
find homemade jelly/preserves.) Bake at 350 degrees, 12 minutes,
or until lightly browned.
Cool and store in tightly covered containers.
