While macaroni is cooking, bring milk, butter, and cornstarch to boil, stirring often. Reduce heat
to low. Add cheese slices while constantly stirring.
Remove from heat. Add salt and pepper. Mix toether with cooked macaroni. Can be warmed in
microwave, crock pot (low setting) or over (250 deg. F.) I prefer the crock pot.
