     Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 stick of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (3) mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup sour cream
 
Optional- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease/butter one large loaf pan. Bring butter to room temperature (about 2 hours). Cream butter and sugar using a hand or stand mixer.
Add eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla. Beat together until smooth. Add flour, baking soda, and salt (slowly) and mix thoroughly.
Add mashed bananas, sour cream, and nuts (optional), and mix well.
Bake in a greased loaf pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.
