1 shoulder roast (pork) OR 1 heel of round roast (beef)
1-2 bottles of selected barbecue sauce
Pepper, salt, garlic powder, garlic salt, etc.
3 tablespoons oil
Instructions
Heat 3 tablespoons oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat.
Mix any spices desired together and dry rub the roast.
Sear the meat for 2 minutes on each side in the skillet.
Remove meat from skillet and place in crock pot.
Cover with water or beef stock.
Cook on low for 8 hours in the crock pot.
Remove roast from crock pot and let drain on plate. Using two forks, shred roast.
Empty excess water from crock pot.
Add shredded roast back to crock pot and mix with barbecue sauce (amount is variable depending on taste).
Cook on low for an additional hour.

Suggestions
Serve on onion buns with french fries.
