In a large, reusable plastic bag, combine soup mix and water. Add chicken, potatoes and onion. Seal bag and toss to coat.
Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 deg. for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, and chicken juices run clear. Stir vegetable occasionally during baking.
Hint - Recipe recommended savory herb and garlic soup, but I found that to be too garlicy.
Hint - Recipe did not call for marinating chicken, but I did marinate it in balsamic dressing for a couple of hours just for added flavor.
