     Congo Bars

Ingredients
2 sticks butter melted
2 cups brown sugar (1 cup dark and 1 cup light brown)
2 cups flour -sometimes a little extra (1/4 c)
2 cups chocolate chips (1 12 oz bag)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt.
 

Instructions
Mix butter, brown sugar and eggs (one at a time)in a large bowl. Mix all remaining dry ingredients in a SEPARATE small BOWL!) Mix dry mixture into wet mixture slowly. Lastly; add vanilla and chocolate chips.
Poor into greased (non-glass) 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 mintues or until toothpick comes out clean.
