     Pistachio Cranberry Scones

Ingredients
3 c all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp orange zest
1/2 tsp salt
6 Tbsp butter
1/3 c splenda
3/4 c 1% low-fat milk
1/2 c dried cranberries
 
1/2 c chopped pistachio nuts

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 and spray cookie sheet with vegetable cooking spray.
Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt and orange zest in lg bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Add Splenda and milk to dry ingredients, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in cranberries and nuts.
Pat dough to a 3/4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut scones with a 2 1/2 in round biscuit cutter, and place on cookie sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes and lightly brown.
