6 medium baking apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced

1 unbaked, ready-made 9-inch piecrust
|

1 large egg, beaten
|

1 tsp granulated sugar

Instructions |

Preheat over to 425 degrees. Spray pie plate.

Combine brown sugar, sugar, flour, lemon peel, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add apples and sugar mixture - stir until coated. Spoon into plate

Place piecrust on top of filling. Trim edges. Cut vents to steam. To with glaze and sugar.

Bake 35-40 mintues
