     Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients
1c soft butter
1/2 c sift powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4c sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4c finely chopped nuts
extra powdered sugar for rolling
 

Instructions
Mix first three ingredients together thoroughly. Sift together next 2 ingredients and mix into first 3 ingredients. Mix in nuts and chill dough.
Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes until set, but not brown. While still warm roll in powdered sugar.
Cool and roll in powdered sugar again.
