I cut the cabbage into 1/4's and grate each quarter.I then add 1 cap full of vinegar shaking it over all the grated cabbage, I add garlic salt and quite a bit of pepper, probably at least 1/2 of a large onion cut up very small, and then the mayonnaise and stir, and stir and stir until all the cabbage is completely combined. I then taste to see what it needs..it may need salt, it may need more mayonnaise, it may need more pepper, it may need more vinegar, and so on.....just keep tasting until it tastes like you want it!
