     Peanut Butter Cake

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup milk, divided
2 medium eggs
 
Instructions
Sift together in mixing bowl, the flour, sugar and baking powder. Add shortening, peanut butter and 2/3 cup milk. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Add remaining milk and eggs. Beat 2 minutes longer. Bake in 2 8inch cake pans at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
