     Popcorn Balls

Ingredients
1 cup molasses
1 cup corn syrup
1 teaspoon vinegar
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 quarts freshly popped popcorn
 

Instructions
In saucepan, combine molasses, syrup and vinegar. Cook until a small amount of mixture dropped in cold water forms a hard ball. Stir in butter and salt and pour over corn, stirring until each kernel is coated. Butter hands lightly and shape into three inch balls. Cool, wrap individually in waxed paper or plastic wrap. Makes 6 balls.
