In medium saucepan saute onion in oil over medium heat until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add ketchup, marmalade, bourbon, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, dry mustard, worchestershire and 1 teaspoon of the pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring ofter until thick, about 30 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
