     Merliton casserole

Ingredients
10 - merlitons
1- lb. bacon
2- 6 oz. cans of small shimp
2- 6 oz. cans of crab meat
1 -1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
2 - eggs
1 - large onion
1- large bell pepper
6 - stalks of celery
 
3- cloves of garlic
1- stick of butter
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Boil merltions , cool and remove skin and seeds then mash them . cut bacon in a small pieces and fry . add all cut up seasoning and saute . combine ingred. with merlitons in a large bowl . mix crabmeat , shimp, , eggs, and bread crumbs and blend together . spread in a baking dish . sprinkle bread crumbs on top and layer with butter on top. bake at 350 until brown
