Crunchy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

	1 cup flour
	1/2 teaspoon baking powder
	1/2 teaspoon salt
	1/2 teaspoon baking soda
	1/2 cup shortening
	1/2 cup white sugar
	1/2 cup brown sugar
	1 egg
	1 tablespoon water

	1 teaspoon vanilla
	1-1/2 cups rolled oats
	1/2 cup nuts if desired


Instructions


Mix all the above ingredients together. Make into small balls and press with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes
