     Cheesy Beer Toast

Ingredients
Heavy bread, toasted
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp AP Flour
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 c. Stout or Porter beer
3/4 c. Cream (light/heavy)
6oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese (Shredded)
 

Instructions
Melt the butter in a heavy pot. Whisk in flour, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce well.
Stir in beer and cream. Stir in shredded cheese a handful at a time until all combined. DO NOT let the sauce boil, or it will become grainy. Just keep it hot.
Pour sauce over toast and serve.
