     Easy Beef Burgundy

Ingredients
1-2 lb stewmeat
4-6 carrots, sliced
2-3 ribs celery
large onions sliced or bag of frozen pearl onions
2 cups canned whole tomatoes with juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoons tapioca
1 cup burgundy wine, or any red wine
 
fresh mushrooms

Instructions
Mix together only the tomatoes with its juice and the tapioca and let rest for 15 minutes
Combine meat and vegetables in oven proof dutch oven or casserole dish and cover.
Pour tomato mixture over and cook for 2 hours in 375 degree oven.
Add sliced fresh mushrooms and bake uncovered for 2 more hours. serve over rice or noodles.
