     'Popping' Marscopone Pizza

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   None
Preptime   15 min

Ingredients
Pillsbury bread sticks (the cold 'pop' kind in the refrigerator section)
Marscopone Cheese (found in re-fridge section in small cup like containers)
1 small onion sliced into rings
4 slices of bacon
handful of fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella plus some to sprinkle on top
oil

Instructions
'Pop' the breadsticks open and lay them on a parchment lined cookie sheet keeping the perforations in tact. Using a rolling pin or your fingers, roll the dough till they are about half the thickness as when first opened.
Meanwhile in a skillet or griddle drizzle some oil (I used coconut oil) to fry the bacon till almost crispy, remove bacon and cut with cooking sheers into approx. half inch slices. Caramelize onions in the bacon grease (that's right baby!).
Mix marscapone cheese and mozzarella together and spread evenly on dough top with basil leaves, caramelized onions, & bacon then sprinkle with mozzarella.
Bake at 450 until bread sticks are done and top is golden.
Serving Suggestions
Works great as appetizers you can cut them in half and then pull them apart
