     Wheat Bread

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 packages dry yeast
1/3 cup non-fat dry milk
1-1/2 cups hot tap water
2 tablespoons shortening
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons salt
1 egg
1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
 
1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions
Measure 2 cups of all-purpose or bread flour. Sprinkle yeast and milk over flour. Stir. Pour in water add remaining ingredients except remaining flour. Beat 3 minutes at high. Add remaining flour. Knead 10 minutes. Beat 10 minutes. Shape. Raise 30-45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
