Ingredients
1/2 cup of chicken or vegetable broth, low-sodium
2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, sliced
4 oz. carrots, julienne
1 tablespoon of butter
Salt
 

Instructions
Combine broth and ginger in a sauté pan and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove ginger slices with a slotted spoon. Add carrots and butter and cook until broth has evaporated and carrots are just tender. Season with salt.
