     Chocolate Cherry Kiss Cookies

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 cup of butter (softened)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cups cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 bag of Hershey's Cherry Cordial Kisses (or a bad of Rolos)

Instructions
Cream together butter and sugar. In a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa, and baking soda together. Then add eggs and vanilla to the butter and sugar mixture. Next carefully add the flour, cocoa, and baking soda into the butter and sugar mixture.
Take 1 unwrapped Hershey's cherry kiss and put it in the center of the dough, and push the dough around the kiss until the kiss is completely hidden in the ball of dough. (Usually 1 tsp. of dough is enough to cover the kiss). Also be sure to seal any cracks or holes in the ball of dough. Then roll ball of dough in white sugar, enough to cover the whole ball of dough. Repeat for the rest of dough.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, (10 minutes is my favorite). Be sure to make sure you don't over cook them, because the dough starts out brown. Once cooked let them sit on the cookie sheet for about 1 minute to cool, then remove and place them on a brown paper sack, wax paper, or a cool greased cookie sheet, so the cherry filling doesn't leak out of the cookies.
