     meatballs and dips

Ingredients
500g lean minced lamb or beef
1 small onion, very finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup finely chopped parslry
1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup oil for frying
3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
 
for the dip-
1-2 tblsp fresh mint
1 cup plain unsweetened yoghurt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt

Instructions
combine all the ingredients, except the oil, in a bowl and mix thoroughly. shape into 60 meatballs about 1cm in diameter.heat the oil in a frying pan. add half the meatballs.
cook over a moderately high heat for 4 or 6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked. repeat with the remaining meatballs turn once during cooking.
for dip combine all the ingredients in a bowl. mix well. serve with the meatballs .
