     Hash Brown Potato Casserole

Ingredients
2 lb. package cube hash browns
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
pepper to taste
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
2 cups sour cream (16 oz.)
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
 
Topping-
2 cups corn flakes (approximate)
1/4 cup butter or margarine

Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and than spread into a 13 x 9 baking dish. Spray with Pam first.
Topping- sprinkle 2 cups crumbled corn flakes over casserole. Pour 1/4 cup melted margarine over corn flakes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes. I cook for the least time if cooking ahead. Rewarming will cook it more.
