     Omy's beef brisket

Ingredients
5 lbs. beef brisket
flour
kitchen bouquet
ketchup
Albertsons onion soup mix(In box)K
 

Instructions
Pre-heat oven at 375 (375 convection if possible) Wash meat. In glass cup put 3 heaping tablespoons of flour. 1 T of kitchen bouquet, 1/2 onion soup mix and 1 cup of hot water in. Stir until smooth.
Fill disposable large pan with app. 3/4 inch of water. Place meat into pan. Add gravy mixture to pan. Cover meat with the rest of the onion mix and approx 1 cup ketchup. Spread with spatula.
Shift pan back and forth w/hands to even out the liquid. Then cover w/tin foil.Place in oven for 3 1/2 hours. Remove tin foil for the lst 45 minutes.
The meat should be soft to touch w/fork.If not-cook until done.Remove from oven-let cool. Slice thin, return and put back in the gravy and warm later w/tin foil
