     Sevai Kheer

Ingredients
1 liter milk
1/2 cup fine vermicelli broken into 1
1 tsp ghee
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
15 stran saffron crushed 1 tsp hot milk
10 almonds blanched and thinly sliced
10 unsalted pistachios thinly slivered
 

Instructions
Heat ghee in a heavy deep pan. Add broken vermicelli and stir till lightly roasted.
Add milk. Stir gently and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add sugar and stir till disolved. Add cardamom, saffron, almonds and pistachios.
Mix and take off of heat. Serve hot.
