     Mike's Mom's Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients
1 stick margarine, softened
1 cup sugar (the recipe still tastes great with 1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar)
2 eggs
3-4 super ripe bananas (yes...the black ones)
2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup nuts (walnuts or nut topping)
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl.
Add all other ingredients and stir well.
Spoon mixture into a greased loaf tin and bake at 350 degrees until a toothpick comes out of the center of the bread clean.
Serving Suggestions
Hot, with a slab of butter on top!!!!
