     Grandma Barbara's Brisket

Ingredients
extra lean, trimmed brisket
water (to cover brisket)
onion soup (any kind in packet)
1 bottle Bennett's Chili Sauce
1 can of beer
Salt, Pepper, Oregano
Large carrots (peeled)
Large bunch of celery
1 Large onion
 

Instructions
In large roasting pan, place brisket. Cover with water (until totally submerged). Add packet of onion soup mix. Cut up peeled carrots, celery and onion in large chunks. Arrange around the brisket.
Add bottle of Chili Sauce and can of beer on top of brisket. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
Cover pan and roast at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Meat should be very tender when you poke it with a fork. Let cook before slicing. Store sliced meat in gravy.

Good with everything.
