     Rouladan Beef

Ingredients
thin sliced steaks
mustard
salt and pepper
bread sliced into finger size peices
dill pickles quartered lengthwise
 

Instructions
Place steak on cutting board. Spread mustard lightly over. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add one piece of bread and one quarter of pickle to each slice. Roll into tube and secure with toothpicks.
Fry rolls in butter to lightly brown a few at a time. Remove to plate and keep warm as necessary. Return rolls to pan cover with lid and cook on medium low heat for 1 hour.
Remove rolls from fry pan and thicken sauce with cornstarch/water mixture or powdered gravy mix.
Note I like to put the same amount of toothpicks per roll so no one eats one.
