In large bowl cream shortening, flavoring and water.
Add dry ingredients (sugar, meringue powder)
Mix on medium speed until al ingredients have been thoroughly
blended. Continue mixing an additional minute or so, until icing is
a creamy consistency.
This will create a stiff consistency icing. Slowly add water to thin to
proper consistency. Should be about 1 Tbsp for medium.
