     Kolmi-No-Patia - Shrimp curry

Ingredients
Oil
2 tsp. cumin
7 dry chillies
1 pod garlic
2 onions, chopped
1-1/2 kg shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt to taste
Pinch of turmeric
3 large onion, sliced, fried and crushed
 
2 - one inch sticks of cinnamon, ground
3 cloves, ground
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp sugar
vinegar to taste

Instructions
Grind ingredients 2 to 4. In a pan, heat a little oil and fry the ground masala until red in color.
Add shrimp, salt and turmeric, ground spices, fried onion and some water.
Cook until shrimps are tender.
Add vinegar and sugar. Simmer for a few minutes
Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with mori dal & white rice or khichdi.
