12 slices seedless rye bread, or 6 kaiser rolls split in half
shredded soft-leaf lettuce, e.g., Boston
Instructions
Boil eggs for 12 minutes, remove. Let sit 2 minutes,drain, run cold water over eggs. Let sit until cool enough to handle. Peel eggs.
Chop eggs, place in bowl. Add all other ingredients. Mix with a fork.
Spread mayonnaise, if using, on bread or cut rolls. Spread egg salad on bread, top with lettuce.
