Preheat oven to 375°. Combine shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Beat until creamy. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix. Add M&M's.
Use teaspoon to drop onto baking sheet.
Bake 9-11 minutes.
Makes approximately 5 dozen.
