     Beef Stew

Ingredients
2 lbs beef, cubed
2 Tbsp oil
4 c boiling water
1 Tbsp lemon
1 tsp worcestshire
1 clove garlic (don't crush)
1 medium onion, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 Tbsp salt
 
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
dash of clove (or all spice)
6 carrots, sliced
18 - 24 marble onions
3 potatoes, cubed

Instructions
Thoroughly brown meat in oil. Add water, lemon, worcestshire, garlic, onions, bay leaves and seasonings.
Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Stir to keep from sticking.
Remove bay leaves and garlic. Add carrots and potatoes. Cover and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
