Cook bacon and crumble. Stir into softened cream cheese.

Cut crusts off bread slices and roll flat with a rolling pin. Spread cream cheese mixture on bread slices.

|
Place asparagus stalk at one end of the bread and 'jelly roll' it. Repeat with remaining slices.
|
|
|
Brush tops of rolls with melted butter. Cut rolls into four pieces each and broil until brown.
