     Homemade Ginger Ale

Category   Beverages
Sub Category   None
Preptime   15-20minutes

Ingredients
2/3 cup of chopped fresh ginger- peels and scraps are okay
1 cup granulaed sugar
Juice of 2 limes(about 1/4 cup)
3/4 cups of water
1 liter seltzer water
ice for topping off

Instructions
Juice the 2 limes and add water to juice(should make 1 cup of liquid total). Combine in a sauce pan with ginger and sugar. Bring mix to boil. Stir once and turn off the heat. Let sit for about 30 minutes or more so the ginger can steep and its flavor can be extracted.
When syrup has sufficiently cooled, combine it with one liter of seltzer water, top off with ice, and serve immediately.
