1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut in pieces & chilled
1/2 cup Crisco, cut in pieces and chilled
6 to 7 Tbsp. cold water
Instructions
Combine flour and salt in food processor. Pulse to mix. Add butter and Crisco. Whirl about 30 seconds until like coarse meal. Add water just until mixture begins to mass together.
Divide dough in half; shape and flatten into disks. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until well chilled, about 30 minutes.
