     Heavenly Seven layer salad

Ingredients
6 cups shredded lettuce
2 cups chopped tomatoes
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
10 oz frozen peas, thawed and drained
4 oz cheddar cheese,shredded
1 cup red onion, sliced into rings
2 cups miracle whip salad dressing
2 slices bacon, optional
 
Instructions
Layer lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas, cheese and onion in 2 quart serving bowl. Spread dressing over onions, sealing to edge of bowl; cover. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Garnish with crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled and additional cheddar sheese, if desired.
